Being a novice with electrics is there anyone who can advise on how to connect a Supersub Smart 1100 Whale pump direct to shore power rather than to the boat batteries.

Being a novice with electrics is there anyone who can advise on how to connect a Supersub Smart 1100 Whale pump direct to shore power rather than to the boat batteries.

They run from a 12 ( or 24) volt DC supply ie the boat's battery.

A battery charger designed to also supply power could perhaps be used or some other mains powered 12( 24?) volt DC power supply with an adequate current rating.

if you don't a charger, battery or other electrics on board, you can use one of these:

The output is typical float volts for a 12v battery and is used for powering CB radios from the mains.
