Connecting battery charger to 24 v battery

I just connected my trolling motor battery in series pos on battery two to neg on battery then connected trolling motor as normal to remaining pos neg. how do u connect two bank charger to battery's tyed pos to pos neg to neg on both battery's but on one of the banks it says check connection

If you are trying to use an ordinary dual output 12 volt charger you will have to disconnect the batteries from each other.

Then connect one to one output and the other to the other output.

If you want to charge them while they are connected in series you will need a 24volt charger
or you can charge one battery by connecting both outputs to it and then charge the other by connecting both outputs to that one

With two chargers the simplest thing to do would be to connect one to one battery and the other to the other battery .

I'm pretty sure the manufacturer doesn't recommend that though.

If the manufacturers say they can be connected in series that's fair enough. Its not something I would have expected to be possible for 2 automatic chargers and not something I would try unless the manual says its OK.
OTOH
I cannot see why there would be any objection to charging the two batteries individually from two separate chargers.

However broken lawn mower is a greater priority
