it means she is now able to run instructor training courses for cruising instructors. So in essence she now teaches the teachers!

It means I can run a cruising Instructor training course,
so a Yachtmaster who would like to start teaching, needs to do this course, It checks that they are at a standard to be able to teach and that they can teach, lots of help and tips too.They can then teach under the RYA scheme for a school Helmsman, start motor cruising and day skipper. after a year or so they can go and do the Instructor training and then if ok get the Yachtmaster instructor ticket.

Well done Julie! Great job.
However it is really 8 days, 4 days of training and assessment and another 4 days to tidy the boat up afterwards!

Well done Jules and especially good as the course is all about instructional and debriefing skills, one if which is to actually debrief by open questions, a very hard skill to acquire and even harder for Julie, as it requires one to listen....... and not talk

A 4-day assessment is pretty hard for anyone.
