Just looked at my Navionic app (latest update) on my iPad.

Wonder if there are any more mistakes (like on depths for instance?).

I have never heard of "Dooley" container terminal either! AFAIK it is and always has been Trinity. Certainly Harwich VTS refer to Trinity 1,2 etc. when referring to berths on that terminal.

That's correct for Dooley. Trinity is the berths to the west.

There were a few on depth as well.... there was one just outside of the Shotley channel entrance markers showing depth as 27 instead of 2.7.

However, I reported it, and in the next release it was fixed, so some confidence that they do listen to feedback!

Makes me wonder how they get mistakes - do they redraw the charts from scratch or are they copying someone else's mistakes?

That's correct for Dooley. Trinity is the berths to the west.

I stand corrected.

However I have never heard Dooley referred to or seen it on a chart.

Looks to me that they have certainly added the text layers 'themselves'.

it may help if you remember that bit about "an aid to navigation" that you click on before it opens any charts?? It also goes on to say you should not rely on anything other than properly published navigation charts...

Perhaps they are testing people on purpose.??

Having sailed round the world using photocopied or out-of-date charts I'm quite aware of the limitations of my navigational portfolio thank you .

The previous release for Android had the Yatch moorings but the previous name was Port of Felixstove

Looks like the channel marker buoys are in their new positions.

They were very quick to add the new River Crouch and Whittaker Channel bouyage.... In fact i don't think Imray or 'Visitmyharbour are showing them yet?
