There are stories of men wrestling a giant condom in horizontal rain at Port Dinorwic.

Just been out to have a look and yes, the woodpile has been made safe for sex. Well, no one can be offended as they can't see in to observe any inboard carnal shenanigans.

When did this happen? Why was I not invited to take photographs, offer poor advise or just generally heckle?

May pop out later and photograph the monstrosity.

Took four of us about 2 hrs to get to this stage in the fitting.

Mind you it didn't help that the manufacturers had put the back piece in the centre piece bag

5 hours wet through and cold, still not happy with the fit and 2 1/2 grand lighter.Remember I'm just a little sensitive at the moment.

Tom

PS It's not a condom as the prick is on the outside.
PPS Thanks to Brian James and Philiz for the help.

I don't invited much these days. :( Thank God, it was throwing it down.

This afternoon, the woodpile is looking more cheerful.

When do 'we' start on this.

I resisted using my screwdriver to test the hull integrity.

Major,

You would use a condom too if you had a "woodie" like Tom's. He's just pracising safe boating.

Hi Bernie,

I chatted to Tom earlier on Skype. It seems he got a condom that was not ribbed in the appropriate places and he had to stow away his mast.

LS looks fine in the sun, but I understand the erection stage was damp, with too many people involved.

I think I am away the day he antifouls.

At his age and with all the gear he has hanging on his mast, I can see where he needs assistance during the erection phase.

Major...in your first pic. it looks as though some of the contents of the legendary LS drinks cabinet appear to be supporting the keel....:)

Are they in preparation for the re-launch party...:)

Nah. Woodpile owners use them to prop up their boats and then sell the empty barrels to Australia so they can melt them down and make aluminium (aluminum in American speak) boats out of them. :D

Owners of finely handcrafted wooden craft ALWAYS stick together, but occasional teasing is always order of the day.

Bernie

Yes, I understand that, and our loyalty to Tom is as deep as his drinks cabinet. Must admit, I haven't had a rummage in it for a bit. I'll take my step ladder down to the condom and have a look.
