Hi folks,
My Raymarine Dragonfly 5 back-up plotter/sounder came with the boat and I believe was fitted in 2018 (model E70085). The transducer has vanished, presumably the mount sheared then it span until the cable failed too. Are there any Raymarine savvy experts out there who can tell me what transom mounted transducers currently available might be compatible with it? I can only find the Raymarine CPT-100DVS on-line that is downvision capable, this says it is compatible with e model plotters but I'd like some reassurance before I blow £100+ on one (assuming I can find someone who has it in stock).
I've tried the Raymarine website - that established that the model Dragonfly after mine has also been discontinued (different control layout) but they carefully avoid giving an email address for tech help. It'd be good to find something I can just plug in and carry on. Don't want to spend a fortune on a new back-up, especially as I'd need to add a cable extension and the bill/fitting hassle gets painful.
Thanks in advance for any help that is offered, boat is only ashore for a limited time so I'm having to work fast on this one.
Steve
