Hi
I want to add my B&G/Navico 1.6L pump to my Vetus hydraulics system.

The hydraulics system has 10mm (metric) hydraulic connections.
The pump has 9/16's connections.

I haven't found a matching adapter yet.
any suggestions?

I thank you kindly
Carlos

The adapters go into the connections under the red protective covers.
The smaller part is screwed in (1/2-20 male SAE (-05ORB)
The larger part is sticking out (9/16-24 male)

1/2 is smaller then 9/16s
The larger part sticks out of the pump when the adapters are inserted.

So I think I need 9/16-24 to 10mm

Don't use the supplied adaptors. Use adaptors that fit the pump and take the 10mm pipe that matches the Vetus pipe.

Why adapt from 1/2" to 9/16 then from 9/16 to 10mm ?

This link:
Male Connector, 10mm O.D. × 1/2-20 Male SAE/MS Straight Thread(ST), Hydrogen & EC79 Compliant, 316 SS

is the connector, but the other way around. as in, I don't need the nut, and the rubber is on the wrong side so too big. The rubber needs to be on the smaller side or pump side.

edit: or I could use the rubbers provided with the adapters I already got ;)
That's the same link that i posted.

The larger end is the 1/2 / 20 which fits into the pump, so the rubber seal is correct.

to put it in a more clear perspective, I have measured the threads in mm:

1 - what goes into the pump
smallest part - 1/2" or 12.38mm male thread

2 - what fits into the vetus
bigger part - 10mm tube or 15.68mm male thread

edit: the 2nd one could be 5/8

In post #1 you said "10mm (metric) hydraulic connections" That's different to 10mm tube size.

The pump is 1/2-20 male SAE, the other end can be anything that takes 10mm tube.

Perhaps you should speak to a local hydraulics company.

you are right, I should have said 'tube size', didn't realize it in my OP
I thought most people would be familiar with the 10mm vetus hydraulics (tubes).

looks like this is what I need:

Kit Installation Adaptateur de Pilote Automatique, ORB-5 ,1/4 NPT | Simrad France

ORB5 to 1/4 NPT

looks like noone exactly knew what sizes I needed...
Including you. It doesn't help when people don't give the correct information.

Besides, i told you in post #14, when you finally revealed that is was 10mm tube, nit 10mm thread "The pump is 1/2-20 male SAE, the other end can be anything that takes 10mm tube." Which is exactly what you need, the thread size doesn't matter as long as the fittings are for 10mm tube.
