The inflatable that is advertised in the current catalogue (£239.95 , Cat No 753601) seems too good to be true at that price . Has anyone purchased one ,how does it perform,is it value for money ?.

It\'s very, very small...

Probably too small for safe use by 2 people in many real-world circumstances.

I got one last year and had it sent to Greece - Very good value - OK for 2 (or 3 at a pinch)- It actually fits easily in its bag and not too heavy - Good quality hyperlon, fittings, repair kit, but normal naff footpump

Get it.

Hi,

I have one of the Compass 200 (red) that I bought in July 2000 for which I paid inc carriage £263.40. Since then I have bought a boat with davits and I am looking for a GRP dinghy. See my post R to R dated 29.9.03.

As I have not been successful so far with an exchange I must sell it.
Would you like to make an offer?
If you wish to chat about it on the phone send me a private post and I will give you my phone number.

paul.

Hi David,

Thank you for your message.

I am surprised to hear of a canny scot using a credit card to fund extended payments at the whopping interest charges they incur.
However, horses for courses, if you wish to think about paying out £200 for the inflatable let me know. There is of course carriage to be considered perhaps we could split this?

The inflatable is brand new and has never been in the water and I blew it up once just to see it was OK. The oars are still in the sealed wrapper as is the repair kit that came with it. It is in the carry bag and all is pristine.

I cant really afford to let it go for any less.

Sincerely,

Paul.
