I assume the right honorable hobbit

Oh, dear. Oh, dear. I do so dislike admitting the need to contradict so learned and literate a contributor as my Rt Hon Friend 'Webcraft', but - as every schoolboy, and JK Rowling, knows - the creature depicted in my wee avatar pictogram is indubitably an Elf. And not just any old Elf.....
Describing an innocent fellow forumite, related by birth to a minority ethnic grouping, as a 'hobbit' or halfling could readily be considered as racial abuse, and as the present law construes that to reside in the opinion of the 'offendee' and/or any other relevant person, then perhaps my Learned and Noble Friend 'Webcraft' might care to employ less distressing language in future public utterings describing members of ancient races.
He really should know better, for my avatar displays the characteristic large and pointed ears, and not large and hairy feet. There is also the small but significant matter of the footnote 'signature', which is unmistakably a well-known kindly salutation in Elvish.
I know, for I was well-pixillated when I posted it......
The fact that I have adopted a 'nom de plume' from a much-loved writer of travel stories has no bearing on the gravity of this matter, and I trust that the good and long-suffering Moderators have a friendly word-in-ear regarding '5 strikes and you're out'!!
Harumphh!
As for which doctor is empowered to 'read your runes', as far as I'm concerned it could be Doctor Who, Doctor Strangelove, or Field Marshall Doctor Idi Amin Dada. Just so long as the RYA sends back my grubby piece of paper, appropriately stamped to confuse all passing douaniers - and doesn't lose it, I don't give a toss.
