coming to Lidl

We're returning to the boat in Spain this week and I am very tempted by the bagpipes. SWMBO needs some persuasion, but I am convinced that my novice renditions of the Scots classics will delight and amaze our fellow liveaboards. It's true I've never played before, but how hard can it be?

Dead simple. If you take away the bag and the drones you just have something like a penny whistle. Get the hang of that then add the dones and you'll have mastered it in no time at all

I might get one for the hell of it but what Id really like is an Alphorn

The oddity about the SCottish great pipes is that they never stop making a sound, so all sorts of twiddles and decoration are used to break notes up. That's the hard bit.

Should ensure that you get the anchorage to yourself. (Is that why so many Scots want to come to England?)

would steer clear of kilts and stuff.

Can recommend the battery charger for 100Ah batteries, keeping them topped up - except it needs resetting every time the mains go off! Put it somewhere you can get to it - we learned it takes 2 pushes of the button to get the setting we want.

The torch is mega and worth it for the boat and the high probability of it getting a swimming lesson at some point. Have used it as a floodlight creeping up the river on a moonless night. Charge off the 12v system.
The LED beam is a great work light. The flashing red and the white light on the side are useless. But at that price.

The oil filter remover is also good value for the couple of times a year that you need to get the filter off and the replacement on tight enough.
