Following on from my previous thread about replacing a defunct laptop-Lenovo Thinkpad- I got one off eBay that fitted the dock and was a later and better version for £50 and successfully reloaded the PC Plotter software and got it to talk to the boat systems via NMEA. But I can't get it to work with the Comar AIS receiver. I'm wondering if it's because the drivers supplied with the Comar are for Windows XP and the new Lappie uses Windows 7. Can't get any sense from the Comar website. Any helpful suggestions welcome!
