Hi,

A lot of activity in the Bay yesterday thanks to a warm sunny day, and in spite of low water at mid day. I wish I'd had my camera to hand, to record the bizarre sight of a group of people walking across the main fairway, chest deep or a little more at the deepest point.

Among kayakers, yachties pottering around in their tenders, waterskiers and dinghy sailors, I started to wonder exactly where pedestrians fit into the Colregs?

proper hand signals!

Which remnds me of the old joke about the chap who - proud owner of 3 balls - is sitting in a bar and leans over to his neighbour and says "Do you realise that we have 5 balls between us" comes the reply - in a very high pitched voice - "Crikey mate, you must have a fair cluster!"

Reminds me of this - LW springs in ST Peter Port this old lady goes walkabout, not sure what she's looking for....
