Colebrook Roller Furler

The random bit of kit is a toggle and a pair of mounting plates. The Norseman fitting will fit into the toggle with a clevis pin. The mounting plates will fit either side of (one side of) the bow roller.
Can't help with the 'D' ring sorry.

Was at boat today and tried attaching toggle to Norseman - they are definitely not compatible (dimensions) and mounting plates could just about fit on bow roller but would be struggle to fit them solidly with no play at all. Can't be attached to the drum as think the whole drum rotates around forestay. Seems bit heavy handed and surely would limit life of ss rigging but we have little experience of roller reefing so not sure if this is normal - any advice gratefully received!

Can't think of anywhere else it could fit in the system so maybe it is just a random bit of kit.

That looks similar to mine (1980 vintage), which I have never yet identified. I'll try and get some photos at the weekend.

Two hats just wondered if you had any luck taking pics of setup? Speaking to rigger at weekend with more photos he thinks the toggle is in place to add length to forestay - so alternative is to do away with widget and connect Norseman directly to bow roller allowing for additional lengthening of forestay. Difficulty is that as widget doesn't directly fit to Norseman there may be additional 'link' missing - without stepping mast and re-rigging have no idea what length of forestay should be - and don't really want to be re-attaching forestay and roller reefing with tweaking in between once mast is stepped...
