bleddy freezing in fact, but even on a boat with no heating (not that I could go below while sailing) I was very happy and snug with plenty of good kit on. Not even any need for the hotwater bottle down the trousers, the way I used to do it. I don't think I could go back to the way it was only twenty years ago I must be getting soft.
