Cold feet on a boat: how do you cope

Bit clunky for you lot, but almost as good as sex when you put them on. After I smashed my ankle, first few months at sea, in mid winter, I had to resort to a bucket of hot water between strings. Boots were a bit thin.

I usually wear two pairs of thin socks and ocean boots.

Since moving to a Drysuit I have less of a problem with getting cold feet as I wear ski socks then jump in the drysuit with wetsuit boots..

What do you wear over your feet to keep warm while sitting on watch at night in winter.

I use battery powered boot warmers that are brilliant. They are mostly used in ski boots but keep my Duberys nice and warm.

I never get cold feet, so I guess we all have different circulation, so perhaps a tot will improve it.
