Checed the threads but cannot find an answer.

I have treated my decks with Coelan which has been down for about 3 years now. I notice yesterday a whitish 'bloom' in some areas, almost like the bloom one gets after setting a wet glass onto a polished surface.

Anybody come across this before? Any suggestions how to clear it? Thought of lightly sanding the surface and applying further coats but don't want to seal in any problems.

Thoughts most appreciated.

Had some of this on the stern hatches on Fosca which were teak planks on ply with sikaflex seams to replicate a laid deck. Unfortunately the problem turned out to be moisture beneath the coelan. As the surface was still perfect I can only assume that the moisture had come through from beneath. I tried all sorts but was stuck with it, Mike

Had this on a CHB Trawler yacht, again it was a wet patch under the Coelan most noticable with temp changes, made the Coelan look a milky colour as it was underneath and there was seven coats didnt seem it was worth trying to remove as it would always return to a clear finish when the weather warmed up.
