I know I know MapisM. And all the plywood bulkheads and stuff. Oh, and the 7 tonnes of diesel oil. Your sofas really are the very least you have to worry about if your baked alaska goes a bit crazyGeez, are these auditors for real?
Someone should tell them that GRP - all of it - is NOT fireproof, ffs.
Or do they expect coded GRP boats to be completely sprayed?
Goodness , just read this whole post and see whats invlived with coding. I guess its not to be taken lightly. I have been looking at what is invlived in coding and any advantages etc and I do see that Princess have provided a full manual with a lot of these points covered, but like JFm I really dont fancy labels on everything as after all its a private vessal. Got me thinking if I wanted to hire out my boat to a friend for say 2 weeks, does it have to comply to all these regs or are they just for public
just noticed, gog, I think the one at least of the white water is probably grey water? Bart? I remember you mentioned a 100something grey water tank!Really minor but, on the seacock plan, Anchor Shower I would normally call Anchor Wash and White Water I would call Fresh Water. On the Safety Information I would replace the word "Escapes" at the top with "Escape Routes" or "Emergency Exits". The only other thing is the Fuel Decantation Box. Is this simply something I've never known about or is it what I would a day tank or header tank?

Any chance of a Word or Publisher (or whatever) copy? Also I dont understand why you're listing things like float switches and rudder sensors

Actually, thinking about it, what's a tube rinse? Another one I've not heard but could well be my ignorance.

Suggest you add a month/year to the bottom of each card. Things may change over time. i.e. 04/13.
I'm not sure about the name,
but it could be a usefull appliance,
there are two 60mm diamer black PE tubes all along the length of the boat, one for grey and one for black water collection.
in this spot there is a Y split in each tube, with a lid on one leg, that can be used for flushing the tube.
I noticed this a while back when searching the location of a floater switch, and thought it could be usefull in case of a constipation.
how would you call this ?
