Cockpit fridge £550!!

I need a second fridge and have a cockpit cupboard on the S37 designed to take a 500x 390x 430 depth front opening one. However the cheapest one I've seen is £550. I was thinking of spending more like £150. Any experience of cheaper models out there?

Don't bother with cheaper models, you'll only end up replacing it very quickly( I speak from bitter experience!!!) A decent one is going to set you back £400 or more, unless you find a special offer.

Having just replaced the one on the Draco you'll struggle with that depth.
I ended up with an Isotherm one from my local chandlers. Mine is a CR49L and was just over £ 300+VAT which is a decent discount, list is around £ 400!
This is 525Hx380Wx485D. They use a Danfoss compressor which means they are easy to get bits for.

Nothing on washing machines fot ToMo I see. However they do exist, I saw a real diddy one being trundled down the marina the other day.

Have you tried the caravan and camping mags. They often have some useful bits which will fit a boat.

Yeh I trawled arround quite a few sites before asking on here...
A long time ago someone wrote about a small Indisit, but I haven't been able to trace that either; I've even asked boat builders but I didn't get any response......so I guess I'm stuck!

Try Reading Marine Services (01189 - 423877) they had a 'job lot' of fridges which were excess stock from Marine Projects and quite good prices and are usually open to some negotiation.
