Had all the canvas roof off the Sunseeker over the weekend on the pontoons cleaning it. At somepoint the wind must have blown the front windowabove the windscreen into the river. (so annoyed with myself!) I am missing a part and the cockpit is open to the elements. Luckily weather is good this week any recommendations for having a new screen made up asap to fit existing zips and fittings and as close a match to the original material?

whereabouts? as whoever you employ will need to visit boat to measure up.... and distance costs

(BTW, I would claim, on insurance)

Boats in Southampton, I wouldn't have thought would be worth claiming on insurance but I have rang to see if it would be covered.

depends on your excess and just how big that section of cover is and the cost of replacement & because there is no template it will require on site measuring. I do a lot of my own cover mods myself, but if I was looking to get something like this done I would see Hamble Cover services on the basis they are based at Mercury where my boat is... and although not the cheapest they do good quality work. http://www.hamblecoverservices.co.uk/

+ 1, they have done a number of jobs for me, very good quality and service

Some years ago I lost of couple of pieces of my canvas covers due to wind (or possibly theft I guess), and made a claim on my insurance. Initially they offered a pro rata amount for the missing pieces, but then I explained that due to age I wouldn't be able to get replacements colour matched. They kindly accepted this and gave me upwards of two grand for a new full set of covers to be made. So it's definitely worth asking.

I can't help the op but this thread reminded me of a broads holiday when my mate dried a damp duvet cover over the bow rail of our Pennant cruiser.

Result - slight detour into Lowestoft for a new one!
