I've got one and haven't had any problems with it..... cheap, simple but does the job!

I've installed two this year. On a RIB and a Harbour Launch for the Maritime Volunteer Service (I'm Head of Seamanship for the Portsmouth Unit). They are out in all weathers as training vessels, and probably get used far more than most radios do.

Perfectly satisfactory bits of kit.
