does anyone know about this site. I guess this is the owners club website; presumably there isn't an active class association.

I applied for membership about 4 weeks ago - I am still "pending approval" which suggests that it isn't an active website.

any ideas?

thanks

Nick,

I know an internet-savvy Seawolf 26 owner, I had the impression the website is still running; I'll ask.

I have the brochures for the various Cobra's & possibly Seawolves, feel free to PM in case of interest.

I wouldn't call it active, more semi-comatose. Unfortunately it relies on members posting and if they don't post enough then it slowly dies. The first site was very active and held two owner's rallies. The second site was much less active. I tried to keep the post numbers up as the biggest contributor but to no avail.

Monkfish 24 is your man to contact but he hasn't posted here for nearly 3 months. I didn't realise you needed to be approved. I thought it was automatic.

I am n the same position applied 4 weeks ago and membership still pending - I'm a Cobra 850 owner by the way

It was my son and I that started the first website around 1999 when he was in his early teens. The forum was quite active then as there was no other forum to use. We ran the South coast and East coast rallies. As he grew up he got deeper into other techy stuff so when another cobra-ite and his son offered to run it we were pleased to let go, but it got unreliable and went dormant. Its third caretaker started charging for membership, and I walked away. Monkfish is the fourth webmaster and he tried to restart it, but tbh this forum is way more useful, there are few issues confined to Cobras or Seawolfs, so it doesn't have enough traffic to make it worthwhile. You could aska question on it and nobody would notice for weeks.
