STV next week at 20-00 (have'nt bothered checking other regions)
How the five strong police force on the Isle of Mull, backed up by "Strathclyde Police's ELITE marine unit" cope when yachtys hit Tobermory for West Highland Yachting Week.
Might be a laugh, if you are not too easily irritated (that why I didn't post on the Lounge)
Reminds me of a few years ago, anchored, off to the pub, finished up in the bar in the hotel at the top of the hill, no wind but some clown managed to drag through the anchorage taking about 5 boats with him. Mate arrived in the bar having run all the way up from the Mishnish but was unable to speak, but we could tell he had news, then Police arrived called out our boats name, into the cage in back of the paddywagon, 'Could you turn the light off' 'sorry mate that light doesn't go off', drove slowly through the crowds on the street back to the dinghy. Sorted it out but on the starting line the next day the rest of the class were really surprised to see us out of clink so soon.
