Hi folks,

Having found myself with an unexpected couple of weeks to spare, I'm keen to get my Coastal Skipper done. Did Day Skipper a shocking 5 years ago, and it has been on my to-do list since. Trouble is, it's very last minute - either last week in august or first week in sept, and I am struggling to find anywhere with spaces. So if anyone happens to be chummy with a sailing school they can recommend I try, please do get in touch.

Alternatively, if I can't get anything organised I am keen to get out on the water, so if anyone is planning a cruise a few days long over this period and need a crew, let me know just in case!

Cheers,

Robin

all you need is a sea school with a vacant berth. Normally courses are combinations of comp crew, DS,CS and YM... However if you need an exam, that is different, as there may well be a YM warming up for their exam, and getting an examiner short notice may not be simple...

We can offer you a Coastal Skipper (non tidal) course in Greece 2 September. Lovely weather here then ...

However, you don't say how much sailing you've done since passing your Day Skipper or whether you have passed your Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster theory.

It's not possible to jump from Day Skipper to Coastal without further experience and study.

Send me a PM if you want more information.

All the best
