Hi All,

Has anyone had any recent dealings with Coastal Covers based in Gosport? Is so could you PM me please.

I don't see the need to PM.

I dealt with them, just the once.

I wrote to Arun, described the job, received a quote. I said at the time I would be dealing with Gosport as my boat was based there.

My wife took the item in and confirmed the price.

When we went to collect the item the price had increased by 50%!

Reasons given?

Oh, our overheads are more expensive than Arun and the person who you spoke to here wasn't authorised to discuss pricing, she was just a machinist!

The job was done well, the original price was honoured but you only get one chance to shaft me.

Costal Covers were based in Cooperage Green, Weevil Lane, Gosport. But have recently shut and moved elsewhere.
One of the guys who worked there has set up on his own based out another unit within the yard as Adrift Covers. He has just done some table and seat covers for me, very reasonable cost and good quality.

Call Andy at Ocean Marine, Bournemouth and say Mike recommended you.
Good workmanship at sensible prices, many of our customers have USED (edited due to stupid typo!) them and all praised the work.
I have even used them myself for my own boat!

Thanks for the responses. I've been having difficulties tracking them down as they have all of my canvases in for laundry and repair. I was getting a little worried but have got hold of them now via Arun Sails.
