Calling all Clyde based forumites (and those further afield).

Anyone up for a forumites meet next weekend? (Saturday 2nd July)

Had thought of Kilchatten bay - reasonable hotel/bar locally and some moorings in the bay not to mention good anchorage for those who would rather drop the hook.

Seems fairly central for those coming "doon the water" and those coming from Irvine, Troon, Ayr area.

If the wind is in the wrong direction from the east or NE there is always Millport close by provided the wind is not coming from anything with an "S" in it.

Other suggestions as to venue welcome.

Mind you it could be no one is interested.

Couldn't make next weekend, but possibly the one after- Provided someone has a free berth ! !

Great idea - heard about it from Superstrath earlier today. Yep - we'll be there, either on board our own floating builder's yard, or, if he can't find crew in time, perhaps on Superstrath's marine three room and kitchen.

O.K., that is 4 so far - any other takers?.

Another "meet" can always be arranged next month - there is an idea - have a monthly meet somewhere in the Clyde but let's see how this one goes first.

Aahhh...... Now I understand. So you were the guy that used to take the bad stuff fae Ardeer to the dumping ground.

Anyway, huvnae got thae flags, so you should be able to identify us by the usual surly unresponsive gray-git superbly bad seapersonship.
