Clyde marinas

Over the past 7 years we have had our boats sitting on moorings laid by the local diver at Lamlash. The specification is not laid down by the insurers, just agreed between ourselves and the diver and has always been a bit heavier than required for the particular boat concerned.

Navigators & General don't seem to have had any problem with that as long as it's between 1st April and end September and its annually serviced.

Moorings and insurance

I have a similiar type of mooring arrangement in the Kyles of Bute. My insurers Bishop Skinner do not seem have a problem. Annual inspection for my own peace of mind and if I wish to extend past October I phone the company and no extra charge.
