Cloudy brown water again

Paddling in Marsh Lock weir tonight and there was some awful looking foam, yellow/brown in colour in the weir. It smelt a bit as well. My kayaking colleagues did a long trip on the Loddon yesterday & said just as bad.
Can't believe the EA with all it's scientists haven't worked out what it is.

Its just because of the low flow, all the weirs are nearly completely shut. Its the same brown as a canal goes which has no flow:(

There is such a thing as self scouring. Ask Boat 1 ask Brayman ask others. They regularly scour the bottoms of their boats on the shallows that are everywhere.

Yes but as one sampler told me when I sugested take a sample from Henley "oh we cant take a sample there it's to dirty!!!
