Closed cell foam

Can one get closed cell foam, the expanding type, in a can like the open cell stuff in builders merchants? Does anyone know of brand names of the stuff in the uk? Is it easy to get or something that needs to be ordered from a specialist supplier?

Yes, lots of different brands. Google closed cell expanding foam. Or you can get it as a 2-part liquid.

The stuff from cans is fairly closed cell.
Unless the foaming is done under well controlled conditions, I would not trust any of it to be absolutely closed cell.
