They choose a soggy day for a race.
There is nothing quite as pleasant as being sat under the main with the rain pouring off the boom all over you as you try and race in very little wind.....

Well it's only the first day of many. Next stop Rio!
I was at Q'boro on Saturday night but chose to sail back home to Faversham on Sunday because I hate the exact scenario that you describe...
