I don’t mean when you are doing an epic clean with jet washers and chemicals….just the everyday smears whether it’s from sea spray underway or dust and dirt from just sitting in port.
We used to use a jug of water, microfibres cloth and squeegee.
It works, but it means I have to keep passing jugs of water…and that dirty water goes everywhere
So I stole this from home

The spray on system is very frugal with water and effective…and the vacuum squeegee ensures no dirty water stains on the gel coat

I’ve moved to car detailing products for a lot of my boat cleaning. Bilt Hamber make an amazing glass cleaner called Traceless. It’s also great for cleaning the clear panels on canopy’s

Back when I was selling cars, we were ‘encouraged’ to promote Autoglym’s Lifeshine product which was a huge ripoff and came with a bag of mostly useless car cleaning products. One of the few exceptions was the windscreen cleaner. Amazon.co.uk
I still use this and keep a bottle in each car and had one on the previous boat. Cleans without leavings smears and seems to let water run off.
