Can anyone advise on the best and most effective way to clean a blue sprayhood.
Removal of the winter green mould is possible using washing up liquid and a scrubbing brush followed by plenty of water, although I doubt the scrubbing brush is good for the stitching.
The main problem is ingrained dirt which I am told is the residue of sand blown from the Sahara last autumn. It appears as streaks in the material and is not affected at all by the scrubbing and washing.
A jet wash would probably do the trick but there would probably not be much sprayhood left afterwards.
Suggestions please.
