+1 for the washing machine. Slight thread drift; I have found that a bag with a synthetic interior is better for use on a boat as it is more likely to wick away any moisture and if damp, will dry very quickly if hung out, whereas I found that a bag with a cotton interior, while seeming initially more comfortable and warm, will hold any dampness and take a longer time to dry out.
