The rope fendering around Ex Libris is starting to look a bit agricultural. Does anyone know of a method for cleaning/treating them, please?

Cleaning

You could try Dishwasher Powder , Bucket of water and a hand brush .. Mix before you use as it gets rid of the bits .. It cleans all the grime of Teak Decking and I also noticed the other week that it was fetching the green off the lines as well .. May not work but its cheap £3 from Wilko's and if you find it doesn't you can always use it elsewhere .. Give them a good rinse after ..

Wait until the wife is out and use the washing machine but be careful not to overload it. I have also heard that they can be cleaned in a Dishwasher too.

You haven't seen Gavi's rope fendering ! He'd need to cut it up in 6" sections to get it in a washing machine and splicing it back together afterwards would be a pig of a job ! :D

Afternoon tea at Byrons anybody?

I'll bring me own China....

China... in my house... there's posh look you... Eileen hides the China when any boating people come over and she chains the spoon to the table top. She isn't really happy about Boaters using her plastic beakers.
