Tried our household Kleeneezee orange oil wood cleaner/polisher on our Sadler's interior varnished woodwork. The result is excellent - it removes salty/greasy films even where you didn't think there were any and leaves a clean shiney finish plus a faint citrus smell.. I then loaned the bottle to friends to try it on their boat and they were equally impressed. Costs £5.00 for 500ml. but as far as I can establish you can only get it via the Kleeneezee rep.. I have no connection with the company.

Look at the ingredients list most such cleaners are made from very cheap but effective basics such as oxalic acid (exellent stuff cleand everything from rust stains on topsides to greying teak)
