Cleaning pitted stainless steel lettering

The lettering of my "Princess" logo is very pitted. See photo.

Can anyone tell me what is the best way to go about cleaning it and getting it sparkling again?

I don't know but I would have thought solid stainless.

A poor low res photo. Does not look like corroded stainless.
Looks like plated brass or other inferior metal.
Probably replace is the best result?

Agree, Pete (post #3) will sort you out on replacement.

That is classic 'chrome needs cleaning'. A car chrome cleaner will improve it greatly but probably get all the pitting out. Chrome improves from being polished - honest. I have chrome plated brass window surrounds - chrome cleaner or Brasso is effective.
