Reading the other post about fitting these reminded me.
Mine has a 'screw on' cap for sealing the hull fitting when removing the transducer for cleaning. This is a pain to align on the threads and lets in more water than I would like.
Is this the normal stopper Nasa supply and if so has anyone come up with a better solution.
I'm sure I've seen other manufacturers that use a dummy transducer.
