I have a number of black mould like markings in the cockpit on both the antiskid and the general gelcoat, particular the wet locker tops. Any tips on cleaning as polish, Y-10 and scrubrite not working. IMG_6014.jpg

A very light concentrate of bleach will sort that. You could get Milton or just dilute down some Domestos.

That's gelcoat, right?

I used Jif cream and a small scrubbing brush to get rid of similar marks on my anti skid deck......cheap and very effective.

Many thanks for your replies. I used Dettol Mould and Mildew remover and it has worked an absolute treat with little or no scrubbing. Boat like new again. Last question, the gelcoat is very clean now and no marks or scuffs, can I go straight to wax or should I polish first then wax?

Looks like you have already discovered what I was going to suggest. The dettol green bottle mound and mildew remover is amazing for the interior.
I wouldn't use this anywhere near the hull though.
My best results for a recent and already shiny hull has been from the meguiars cleaner, polish and wax stuff.
Really easy to put on, take off and is one of the few products which actually have real UV protection in the wax finish.
Older hulls are different and I've found best results with the 3m restorer and wax product. It's pretty abrasive though and wouldn't use it regularly after an initial going over.
My thoughts at least and all the best.

Just thinking about it and all the above said....
The chap in front of me with a Sealine s37 uses a cap full of bleach in the bucket along with the usual car cleaning products (after the yearly polish and as a routine clean). He swears by it and his boat is immaculate

Just keep that Dettol well away from your vinyls. It worked a treat on my vinyls last spring I was impressed but I suspect dried them out so they cracked and fell apart by the end of season. They were on last legs anyway but I believe the Dettol may have been the tipping point.
