Cleaning anodized aluminium

Are there any recommendations for cleaning anodized aluminium? I’d like to spruce up the frame of an old hatch but don’t want to damage the coating. Would a scotch pad and soap be ok or can I use a more abrasive cleaning powder?

Try white vinegar.

I would not use anything strongly abrasive .
I would use Silky Cream Cleaner
