Cleaning and painting Hypalon

Yes Avon and other hypalon tenders do seem to last well but my red start and my new toy ( a tinker traveller) are pretty faded, stained and dull.
I am considering cleaning and renovation and even painting and, as usual, turning to my chums here for advice.
I see that the traveller was yellow ( judging by the bits protected by the spray hood ) and wonder if this can be restored or re-painted.
There seems to be the usual plethora of cleaning materials and I will really appreciate opinions based on results obtained.

Not so much a bump as new information.
Acting on advice n another forum I tried cleaning the ancient traveller with Ciff and a green scouring pad. The results were impressive, it seems that rather like gel coat the hypalon surface oxidises and in my case went from yellow to grey. the abrasive action has got the material really clean and restored the yellow colour. When I have done half the dinghy I will post some pics ( hard work but very worth while.

I guess I now need to ask about products to preserve the material??

Traffic Film Remover (TFR) diluted for normal cleaning and neat for stubborn stains works well. Available from motor factors at a fraction of the cost of other cleaners from the chandlery.

They wont be cheap but Polymarine do a cleaning kit and also paints specifically for Hypalon

And while we are attit, what is the best paint to paint detail such as "Tender to.....etc.,) on Hypalon that will not crack or come undone ?
Anyone know ?
