I did suggest that the admin auto locked threads over a certain age. People can still view them but if they want to ask a similar question should start a new one.
Having a load of old threads resurected is pointless. Start a new one.
It's happening more and more.

I missed the date, but I am not sure how it popped up, because I only scan the current page. Did someone open it , then close it thus bringing it forward?
I do agree about closing old posts, although some are useful to those with similar issues & want to search for ideas.

I disagree. I made a joke out of someone's typo in 2008 and I got my first Haha emoji to it yesterday which made the effort worthwhile. I'm looking forward to the next one in 2034.
