I have a rather grotty small white rib that has been neglected by a previous owner. It has what could be described as mildew stains in the way of spots all over its white tubes.
Does anyone know the best way of cleaning the tubes, and what to use together with lots of elbow grease also is it safe to use Oxalic acid on the tubes.

Try a small patch with normal household bleach & a scrubbing brush, works suprisingly well on some. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

We clean ours with TFR (Traffic Film Remover) diluted depending on how dirty it is. Available in 20L drums from most motorfacturers about £25.

I have just done our white valiant rib and found the best stuff was the rib and fender cleaner from the ship shop we tried loads of other stuff but this was by far the best.
