Claymore\'s Patio

For some 12 months now I've endured the daft witterings of former friends and one-time sailing companions who've gone blethering on about Claymore's Patio
I trust that this will put an end to all of this and people can view for themselves my OPSWCP (Occasionally Poor Scottish Weather Crew Protector) At this point Para is twitching a little as he has just realised that I've found out how to put pictures up here and I have one or two that he'd rather I didn't share with you!

Very nice, but I'm pretty sure that this decking thing is going to be sooo passée next year.

<hr width=100% size=1>my opinion is complete rubbish, probably.

I believe that the decking craze is dying out as people recognise the need to constantly maintain it to keep it looking smart.

Adding decking adds very little to the value of a property.

Little red cross again, but I'm sure its a very nice patio. Did that Dermott off the telly design it? Because if he did, I've just seen the design he did for the Chelsea Cauliflower Show, and you'll need to be careful with your hydraulic pump.

BTW, what's all this rubbish about Occasionally Poor Scottish Weather?

Para is well experienced with sailing with Patios - the good ship Corsair had one with a tree in the middle. Did he refer to your all weather cockpit as a 'Double Decker'?

BTW Corsair is gong to be resident in Tarbut (Kyle of Lockalshe?) from August onwards with new owners - so keep a look out for her.

No - Corsair (Victory 40) - the new owners live in Tarbut - I 'm now relishing my FREE boating this summer - no bills no nothing!
Last w/e down to Weymouth - Beneteau 477 beautifully handling boat
This w/e is the Cherbourg double (2 handed ) so off on this in the same boat.

I have to get used to the idea of having to wear oilskins and standing out in a freezing cockpit!

I suspect we will be boatless for another 2 - 3 years - and then buy one in eastern med when I retire.

New owners have invited us up 1st week in august to sail the islands - not sure if I am going to go - I need to let go I think.

Claymore looks lovely in the photos.
