Claymore missing from Canna

Its OK s/he returned safely on that old case. The inhabitants of Canna are quite lovely. Big Donald visits quite frequently and nobody argues with Big Donald.
 
Flippin ek, that place is the crime centre of the small Isles! It was only 3 years ago that the shop was robbed, well more like stuff taken and nothing put in the honesty box. Although, I believe the boat responsible has since coughed up.
 
It’s horrible that some people abuse the friendly and trusting nature of Scottish islands. We don’t want to lost the sense that people are honest and things like the shop can Ben left unlocked. (Clearly a museum with valuable artefacts probably should be).
PS. And boat owners who use a mooring at Canna and don’t go ashore and pay at the honesty box are in the same category, even if to a lesser degree.

We were moored there 6th & 7th June and counted 31 boats in the harbour on the Wednesday night. Fortunately the weather was very settled. We didn't go to Canna House, but saw nothing unusual, except a lot of work going on with Sanday's new road and the solar installation scheme. Hard thing to conceal on the Loch Nevis, or the Shearwater, or an inflatable dinghy!
 
I too thought it might be about Claymore. Here's his take on his electric bog:
