Hi everybody! (hope this works-I'm rubbish at the internet stuff!)

I've just finished building a nice little Herresoff Buzzard Bay 14 similar to the one on this website...
http://www.chipboat.com/shop3buzzardsbay.html (although I've done it with a Bermudan Rig)

I got the lines and design etc from Herresoff's Crusing Designs book. I'm really happy with the final result!

I'm now looking at buliding a classic wooded powerboat of similar size- something like a Riva 18ft. I'm struggling to find a book that has the lines/design of these kind of boats and although I know a fair bit about sail boats I've never buit a powerboat before.

Can any of you reccommend a good book or two where I might find a good design. Or websites or even a designer who might have some nive plans. Any help is gratefully appreciated.

Thanks in advance

WoodenBoat Magazine have some nice runabouts amongst their stock designs. Although most of them have been intended as a fairly basic runabout, choice of select timber and careful workmanship could result in a very handsome craft .
