Classic Boat

Spent yestrday saying "goodbye" to QE2 on the Forth. Nice showing of boats and their owners. Farewell to this classic was a strange set of emotions. Unfortunately, the flypast by Tornado(s) was above the very low cloud base so could not be seen. But all aboard Bosun were impressed by this lovely looking ship.

We were out also in Haggis Hunter, shame about the weather which started to brighten up a bit as we headed home. Yes a lovely ship, much more graceful than the liners we see coming into the Forth these days. We heard the Tornados so they did come despite the low cloud.

Just love old boats oyster smacks and thames sailing barges.Have posted some videos on youtube under zeboczulu.The week before last was out on the river orwell on a thames barge and boy did it rain!!Wish I had seen Tornados they have been at Southend Airshow excellent. The Typhoon is excellent saw it at Clacton also put video on youtube!
