Classic and Vintage Yacht Club of Great Britain

Perusing a copy of Yachting Monthly from April 2002, I found a news story entitled "New yacht club formed for classic boats" in which it says a gentleman by the name of Tim Blackman has founded a new club for traditional boat enthusiasts.

It was to be called "The Classic and Vintage Yacht Club of Great Britain" but, try as I might, I can't find anything on the web for them. Has anyone ever heard of them?
