Citristrip varnish stripper or equivalent in the UK ?

Hi,

I've been reading a book called "The Brightwork Companion" by Rebecca Wittman which recommends a stripper called Citristrip that does not seem to be available in the UK. The manufacturer's page is here http://www.wmbarr.com/citristrip/default.aspx but can anyone tell me whether there is an equivalent stripper sold in the UK ?

funny website, all reassuring pictues and statements like "safe and smells nice" but when you read the material data sheet its a different story This product contains a material (N-Methylpyrrolidone) that may adversely effect the developing fetus based on animal data.

Having looked at the MSDS, it's surprising the Americans allow it to be sold!

I used a hot air gun, it melts the varnish, and scraper being very careful not to burn the wood
