Your replies are appreciated, gentlemen. More than likely I just didn't pay close attention to my own circular saw, during the several years I owned one!

I'm on the point of buying an Argos cheapie, for various casual winter projects. The reviews seem generally positive, considering its cost. Any warnings/recommendations?
