Circlips

Are Circlips not used by professional joiners/electricians/plumbers/handymen anymore ?
I need to replace a couple after dismantling a pump but have been told by all the stores (B&Q etc etc) - "oh no we don't keep them". What am I supposed to do now ? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Don't expect the likes of B & Q to have them, but there are still engineers suppliers around.

Thanks very much - that'll do me ! - small enough quantities - I should have said Screwfix do them but at £8.99 for 350 assorted sizes !

Do not forget to get stainless clips,galavanised ones are cheaper but I find just do not last with sea water.
Best place is usualy a boat jumble but know how much they are before hand!

I needed a very large one for a Lofrans windlass and got one from my local bearing supplier.
