The new Lord Warden reviewed the fleet on Sun. Original commitment in 1196 app. was for 57 ships. We managed that but it took the help of 2 Dutch plus 3 lasers from Hythe sailing club. There was a tug ( briefly ) plus the lifeboat leading followed by the trips round the Bay launch. What a brave show by us hearts of oak still ready to defend the rest of you from crazed tobacco bootleggers. We went twice round the outer harbour while the crowds of burger munchers on the prom were completely indifferent. Didn't spot the admiral - could have been still downing pinkers for all I know. Cost a lot less of the tax payers cash than the Trafalgar blowout down the Solent. Yours patriotically and ready to do my bit. Spuddy
